Discover Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas and one of the new wonders of the modern world. Travel from the city of Cusco and explore stunning landscapes, discovering flora and fauna that range from the Peruvian Andes to the edge of the jungle. You will visit the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes before taking the Hiram Bingham road, where you will enjoy the first spectacular views of Machu Picchu. You will have a guided tour of the Inca citadel, where you will discover the mysteries, history, and secrets it holds. You will also see different types of orchids, such as the “Wakanki,” and, with luck, spot the famous Andean Bear.
At the agreed time, we will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel in Cusco to take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Here, you will board the train that will take you to the charming town of Aguas Calientes, the gateway to the majestic Inca city of Machu Picchu. At the train station, a member of our STAFF will be waiting to welcome you and give you all the necessary instructions. You will then transfer to the bus station to board the bus that will take you to the Lost City of the Incas. During the 2½ to 3-hour tour, you will explore iconic sites such as the Guardian’s House, the Sun Temple, the Temple of the Three Windows, and more. Our guide will immerse you in the fascinating history, origins, and mysteries of this impressive place. After the visit, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where you can relax in the hot springs (optional) or enjoy lunch (not included). Finally, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we will be waiting with a sign with your name to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
