Itinerary


Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco & Transfer to Your Hotel

Upon your arrival, we will pick you up from Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
In the afternoon, we will begin the city tour and visit to Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park. We will pick you up from your hotel lobby to start the tour. You will see the Cathedral Basilica of Cusco (optional), the most important Inca temple, Qorikancha, with its impressive architecture. You will then visit the Sacsayhuamán archaeological site, with its giant stone constructions, followed by Q’enqo, a sacred site, Pukapukara, an ancient control point, and Tambomachay, known as the resting place for Inca rulers. After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.


Day 2
Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour & Travel to Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel lobby to go to Taray Viewpoint, where you will see the stunning Sacred Valley and the Wilka Mayu River. You will visit the Pisac artisan market and archaeological site, known for its farming terraces and ancient cemetery. After, enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. Then, visit the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, with a beautiful view of the living Inca town and its storage structures, Las Colcas. We will take you to Ollantaytambo Train Station, where you will take the Expedition/The Voyager train to Aguas Calientes. A staff member will meet you and take you to your hotel.


Day 3
Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour & Return to Cusco

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu. The tour will last 2 ½ to 3 hours, where the guide will explain the history and importance of this wonder. You will visit sites such as the Guardian’s HouseTemple of the SunTemple of the Three WindowsMain Square, and more. After, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, have lunch, and then take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where we will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.


Day 4
Day 4: Rainbow Mountain Hike & Night Trip to Puno

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel for the adventure to Rainbow Mountain. After a 2-hour ride to Cusipata, we will have breakfast, then go to the camp and starting point for the hike, where you will receive instructions. Horse rental is available (not included). You will see beautiful Andean landscapes, snow-capped peaks, and unique geography. At the summit, you can enjoy the views of the mountain and the Ausangate peak, with time for photos and a guide explanation. We will descend to Chillihuani, where transport will take us back to Cusipata for lunch. We will return to Cusco, and at night, transfer you to the bus station for the trip to Puno.


Day 5
Day 5: Arrival in Puno & Visit to Uros and Amantaní Islands

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from the Puno bus station and take you to the port. We will board a motorboat to the floating Uros Islands, made of totora reeds. Learn about their customs and see their handmade crafts like miniature boat and house models. You can take an optional reed boat ride (not included). We will continue to Amantaní, where a local family will welcome and host you. Share their food, traditions, and way of life. After dinner, enjoy a guided walk with views of Lake Titicaca and a local festival before resting.


Day 6
Day 6: Visit to Taquile Island & Return to Puno

After breakfast on Amantaní, we will visit Taquile Island, where ancient stone steps lead to the village at the top. Watch demonstrations of traditional weaving made by the men of the island, who are skilled artisans. Have a typical lunch featuring local products such as trout and duck. We will descend to the dock to return to Puno, where you can stroll through the city and rest.


Day 7
Day 7: Free Day, Farewell & Transfer to Juliaca Airport

After breakfast, explore the city or shop. We will transfer you to Juliaca Airport for your flight home.
