Itinerary


Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco & Transfer to Your Hotel

Upon your arrival, we will pick you up from Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
In the afternoon, we will begin the city tour and visit to Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park. We will pick you up from your hotel lobby to start the tour. You will see the Cathedral Basilica of Cusco (optional), the most important Inca temple, Qorikancha, with its impressive architecture. You will then visit the Sacsayhuamán archaeological site, with its giant stone constructions, followed by Q’enqo, a sacred site, Pukapukara, an ancient control point, and Tambomachay, known as the resting place for Inca rulers. After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.


Day 2
Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour & Travel to Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel lobby to go to Taray Viewpoint, where you will see the stunning Sacred Valley and the Wilka Mayu River. You will visit the Pisac artisan market and archaeological site, known for its farming terraces and ancient cemetery. After, enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. Then, visit the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, with a beautiful view of the living Inca town and its storage structures, Las Colcas. We will take you to Ollantaytambo Train Station, where you will take the Expedition/The Voyager train to Aguas Calientes. A staff member will meet you and take you to your hotel.


Day 3
Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour & Return to Cusco

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu. The tour will last 2 ½ to 3 hours, where the guide will explain the history and importance of this wonder. You will visit sites such as the Guardian’s House, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Three Windows, Main Square, and more. After, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, have lunch, and then take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where we will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.


Day 4
Day 4: Free Day, Farewell & Transfer to the Airport

After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore the city and shop. We will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time and take you to Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport for your flight home.
