South valley tour

Overview

Day 1
SOUTH VALLEY OF CUSCO

We will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time to start the tour to the South Valley of Cusco. You will visit amazing places that show the history and skills of this region.
The first stop is Tipón, where water was worshiped. You will see advanced Inca water systems that are still impressive today. Next, we visit Pikillaqta, a large city with organized streets and structures, showing the Wari Empire’s planning skills. Finally, we visit the Church of San Pedro Apóstol of Andahuaylillas, called the “Sistine Chapel of America” for its beautiful colonial paintings. After this, we will return you to your hotel in Cusco.
